Provisioning install with msi wrapper install#

even a day later it still reports that the install was successful but it's clearly not there. I thought maybe the syntax was funky so I removed all the extra switches and have the command be 'msiexec.exe /i ZoomInstallerFull5.msi /qn'ДЄfter I did that, I ran the install on my Test VM and it said it completed, but nothing ever downloaded to the /mdm folder and Zoom never installed. Running this install manually on the machine works exactly as it should. Sometimes Intune/Company Portal will report it as a failed install, sometimes it will be stuck in a pending state, sometimes it will say successful, and sometimes it will just do nothing.

no record of any attempt to actually run the install command. I can clearly see in regedit that it is downloading the file with the BITS job, and it shows the full correct install command and then it just seems to max out its retries but never does anything.

Sometimes when I click the install button, it will download the MSI to the %localappdata% folder but not execute the command. The app shows on the company portal but it has behaved completely nonsensical over the past few weeks and it is driving me nuts.

I have the zoom.msi directly from their website on there (renamed to ZoomInstallerFull5.msi).

I had it set up in a very basic way for 4.x and it worked fine, but Zoom did an update and I needed to change some settings so I replaced that install with the Zoom 5 install.ДЇor now I have it set to be available to all users (will change to targeted people once I get it working). I am attempting to push out Zoom Desktop Client v5.x
